Born and raised in Rome, Andrea De Luca began his musical journey performing regularly in the city's venues, such as the late Big Mama. His early influences were Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, Stevie Ray Vaughan, and Johnny Winter. After discovering the Lap Steel guitar thanks to Ben Harper, Andrea honed his self-taught skills, mastering this instrument alongside the traditional six-string guitar.

Andrea's unique style blends a gritty and aggressive vocal tone with refined guitar technique, particularly evident in his masterful use of the Lap Steel. This instrument, rarely seen in the hands of Italian artists, has become Andrea's trademark, allowing him to explore uncharted sonic territories.

In recent years, Andrea has intensified his recording and live performance activities. Memorable performances include the showcase concert on March 25, 2022, at Studio Miriam in Rome, opening for Johnny Winter in 2014, and Victor Wooten in 2018. He plays instruments from renowned brands like Bill Asher's Electro Hawaiian, with whom he has developed a relationship of mutual affection and respect since their first meeting in 2017 at Bill's workshop in Los Angeles, California.

Andrea De Luca has now been touring pretty much everywhere for twenty years developing his rare style, bluesy vocals sound, incorporating old and new with his multiple guitars and Lap Steel guitars.

During the Covid-19 pandemic, Andrea moved to Sardinia, his wife's homeland, and participated in renowned Sardinian music festivals such as Rocce Rosse Blues, Sant'Anna Arresi Jazz, and Musica Sulle Bocche.

Andrea personally handles all stages of his album production, preferring to self-produce with the help of his friend and drummer Luca Trolli, with whom he has shared a passion for music for years.

Deeply connected to his fans, Andrea loves interacting with them during and after concerts. Among contemporary artists he admires and would like to collaborate with are Ben Harper, John Mayer, Joe Bonamassa, and Eric Gales. His latest single, "Got to Cry for Peace," has been very successful, reaching nearly 100k streams on Spotify.

In February 2024, Andrea performed a duet with blues legend Jimmy Burns at Rosa's Lounge in Chicago, leaving the audience speechless with their chemistry and musical prowess.

With a steadily rising career and a clear mission, Andrea De Luca is determined to bring his passion for the blues to an ever-wider audience, intensifying his live activities in Europe and the United States.
